I am a silent reader of bankers adda and regularly do the quizess posted in this site. Today I am sharing my experience and some tips which might be useful to all the readers . After completing my graduation in 2015, I started giving bank exams by practicing only maths and reasoning without realising the fact that GA and English are really the game changers. I had the habit of reading only GA capsules in the end, which I could not memorise. Exams which I gave in 2015 without realising the importance of GA are as follows:
United india insurance assistant 2015
RBI grade B, 2015
Ibps clerk, 2015(my mark 126, cutoff 148, very much disappointed on april 1, 2016 for not clearing clerk)
LIC AAO
United india insurance officer
SBI clerk 2016
United bank manipal PO
After analysing the scorecard and comparing it with those uploaded on sites I realised the fact that GA and English were the sections that I should focus on. After a much disappointed SBI PO result, came the exam result which changed my life, BOB Manipal P. O where I scored 41/50 marks for GA section. I tried hard for the interview and GD. But to my disappointment when the result was published, I was in waiting list. Bt soon came IBPS PO and BOM Manipal PO Exam results all of which I had cleared because of good marks in English and GA. Having good marks in written exam, I didn’t have any difficulty in making it to the final list. Soon after IBPS PO interview I got BOB Call letter and finally on April 1st 2017(sharp one year after the disappoinment )Syndicate bank PO too.
