Will IBPS Reopen the Registration window for PO as well?

IBPS re-opened the application window: As we all know that, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released a notice on its website @ibps.in to re-open the online registration window for IBPS Clerk Recruitment for applicants who attained eligibility in terms of educational qualifications by 6th November 2020. This benefitted all those aspirants who wanted to appear for the exam but due to the epidemic in the nation, their respective universities delayed the declaration of their graduation results because of which they were not able to apply for the exam. This notice by IBPS brought a sense of relief amongst the aspirants who could not register successfully from 2nd September to 23rd September 2020 previously.

Re-opening of registration window : IBPS Is also re-opening the registration window for Officers Scale 1 and Office Assistant (multipurpose) from 26th October 2020 till 9th November 2020. The re-exam for Officers Scale I will be conducted on December 31, 2020, while the exam for Office Assistant will be held on either on January 2, 2021 or January 4, 2021. The online registration window of IBPS RRB will re-open on October 26. Candidates who have attained eligibility in terms of educational qualification as on November 9, 2020, can apply for the exam. Moreover, candidates who could not register successfully from July 1 to 21, 2020, can also fill the IBPS RRB application form. IBPS made these certain changes and provided the aspirants with these additional benefits as they were not able to appear for the respective exams. Aspirants are quite bewildered with the new notice regarding the re-conduct of the exams.

Will IBPS PO registration re-open?

Just like IBPS Clerk and IBPS RRB PO & Clerk, many aspirants weren’t even able to appear for the IBPS PO prelims exam 2020 due to the postponement of their graduation results. Their respective universities delayed the release of the student’s graduation result due to the ongoing epidemic situation in the nation. 

The IBPS PO Preliminary Exam 2020 was conducted on October 3, 10, and 11, while the results will be declared in November. A total of 11 banks Public Sector Banks participated in the CRP PO/MT-X recruitment. This year there were a total of 1417 vacancies (Revised) was released for IBPS PO 2020. The aspirants who missed the chance to appear for the exams are hoping that IBPS like it’s other exams, releases a fresh notification regarding the re-conduction of the IBPS PO exam for those students who did not appear or were not even able to apply for the exam due to the absence of their respective graduation degrees.

Although there is no such notification yet released by the IBPS, looking at the scenario of the re-openings of other exam windows, there are some chances that IBPS does the same with the IBPS PO prelims.
