IBPS RRB PO: Selection Process
IBPS RRB PO is a three stage recruitment process namely: Prelims, Mains and Interview. The stages are same like any other standard banking exam but the only difference is the exam pattern. Given below is the detailed exam pattern of IBPS RRB PO Prelims and Mains.
IBPS RRB 2020 Officer Grade Preliminary Examination

- The exam will be of 2 hours
- There will be no sectional timing
- One can switch to any section of their preference first
- There is a provision of negative marking i.e 1/4th
- There will be sectional cut-off
- There will be four section having objective types and there will be no descriptive section
Interview
This is the final stage of recruitment process and candidates who will get selected in mains will be called for this round. The marks scored in this section are considered for the final selection.
Things to Remember
- Prelim is just qualifying in nature and marks obtained in it are not added to prepare the final merit list.
- The marks of Mains and Interview are considered in 80:20 ratio.
- There is no descriptive section in Mains examination of IBPS RRB PO Mains.
- There is different section of Computer Ability and it is not merge with Reasoning ability thus making the knowledge of computer a must.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant: Selection Procedure
IBPS RRB Office Assistant exam is of two stages only namely: Prelims & Mains and final merit list is prepared by the marks obtained by students in Mains examination.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale- II notification is released for the recruitment of candidates in different departments such as:

Interview
This is the final stage for this recruitment process and marks of both main stage and Interview are considered for preparing the final merit list.
Things to Remeber For IBPS RRB 2020 Interview
Given below are certain things one must remember while appearing for IBPS RRB PO as well as IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II:
- Candidate are require to carry a print out of the IBPS RRB call letter
- Candidate are require to carry IBPS RRB Application Form registered for CWE RRBs-V
- Candidate are require to carry proof of Date of Birth (class 10th certificate/ Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation)
- Candidate are require to carry photo identity proof
- Candidate are require to carry marks sheet of qualifications and other related graduation documents. The documents should be dated before September 30, 2020.
- Candidate are require to carry experience certificates (if applicable)
- Candidate are require to carry caste certificates issued by competent authority in prescribed format.
- Candidate are require to carry disability certificate issued by authorized medical board.
- It is mandatory for an Ex-serviceman candidate to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview.
- Candidate are require to carry no objection certificate if a candidate is working in Government Offices or Public Sector Undertakings.
