What Is NCFM Certification- Modules and Benefits?

NCFM is  certification programe designed by NSE ( National Stock Exchange). Its primary purpose is to help the people gain knowledge and skills in the field of security markets. There are three broad categories in which the certification modules are divided and which includes Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced, based on the need of the students and professionals with varying levels of expertise in different knowledge areas. Each module of this program is dedicated to a certain specific area of finance domain and introduces students to the fundamental principles and methodologies involved depending on which broad category that specific module comes under. There is no as such provision of requirement of prior knowledge in order to be eligible for this exam. The only skills require are the  fluency in english and basic computer knowledge.

NCFM Certification-Modules

NSE Academy Certification in Financial Markets is a program which is divided into three modules ranging from Foundation level to Advanced level, depending upon the skills and experience of the person who wants to take up this certification program. Given below are some of the details regarding the NSE Academy Certification in Financial Markets program module. 

Foundation Module- This module is further divided into eleven modules that are specifically designed for students, teachers and beginners. The fee for each single module is 2006/- inclusive of GST. Every module has different time validity.

Intermediate Module- This is the second stage module especially designed for people having basic knowledge in the financial market. This course will be beneficial for Employees of Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers, Students, Teachers, Employees of BPO/IT Companies, Investors, Anybody having interest in the Stock market operations. It is further divided into 21 modules. You have to register for each of these module separately each carrying a fee of 2006/- inclusive of GST.

Advanced Level- This is the advanced level and will be beneficial for Students, Mid and senior level managers who are working in the field of IT security, People working with the IT and security related department with the Brokers/Sub-brokers, Employees of IT companies/BPOs, Bank employees, Compliance officers. The advanced level is further divided into 14 modules. The fee of each module vary from 7000 to 11000 inclusive of GST.

Preparation Of Exam

Now that you know what is NCFM, its time to address another issue which is raised by maximum students and that is  how to prepare for the exam. One of the thing need to be noticed here is that a candidates is require to give test in the first 6 months of registration because after 6 months window is over the test will expire. One of the factor that plays an important role in acing this exam is the fact that you study from the right study material and do the necessary practice sets.
