Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the new prelims exam date, for the recruitment of 796 vacancies in Indian Civil Services of IAS/IPS/IFS/other posts. The new exam date for the UPSC prelims exam is 4th October 2020. UPSC Prelims Exam Pattern

Paper Nature of the Paper Duration of the Exam No of Questions Marks

Note:-

  • Questions will be asked in MCQ Format.
  • The exam is held offline mode; candidates have to mark their answers in OMR Sheet.
  • There is negative marking for each incorrect question, There is Negative Marking of 1/3rd marks for each incorrect answer.
  • GS Paper II (CSAT) is Qualifying in nature; Candidates need to score just 33 percent marks to qualify this paper
  • PwD-blind category candidates are given extra 20 minutes to attempt each paper
