Eligibility Criteria of UPPSC PCS Exam
Age Limit: As per the official notification of UPPSC, Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2020 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1980 and not later than July 1, 1999. For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have not been born before 02 July, 1965.
Education
As per the official notification, the candidate is required to have Bachleors degree from a recognized university except some of the post given below for which specific specialization is required.

UPPSC PCS 2020: Exam Pattern
UPPSC Civil Services exam will be conducted in line with the UPSC IAS Civil Services Exam. There will be three stages in Uttar Pradesh Commission for the recruitment in state services. These stages are :
– Prelims Exam
– Mains Exam
– Interview
UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Pattern
UPPSC PCS Prelims exam will be conducted offline in pen and paper mode. There will be two papers namely Paper 1 & Paper 2 which will be of 200 marks each and a time duration of 2 hours will be given to candidates.
Prelim is a qualifying exam and its marks are not counted in the final merit list. while there will be a cut-off in Paper-1, students are supposed to just qualify the paper 2 with 33%.

UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS Mains exam is descriptive in nature; candidates need to write answers in essay form. The paper is conducted offline in written format. The Mains exam is held over a duration of one week; all the Papers are conducted in Morning (9:30 to 12:30) and Afternoon (2 to 5 PM) sessions. Each paper is of 3 hours duration
