Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has released the notification for the recruitment of candidates as PCS and the last date to apply online for this recruitment is extended till 4th June 2020 due to the sudden outbreak of coronavirus. Candidates are advised to fill the form at earliest to avoid last minute hassle as this is going to be one of the greatest opportunities for all the students who are preparing for civil services exam. Another point need to be notice is the change in exam pattern because UPPSC has adopted a similar exam pattern like UPSC. Now, just like UPSC it will also have subjective papers in mains. UPPSC PCS 2020: Exam Pattern
UPPSC exam is a three stage recruitment process namely: Prelims, Mains, Interview
UPPSC PCS Prelims Exam Pattern
UPPSC PCS Prelims exam is an offline exam and there will be two papers namely Paper 1 & Paper 2 which will be of 200 marks each and a time duration of 2 hours will be given to candidates.
Prelim is just a qualifying exam and its marks are not counted in the final merit list but there will be a cut-off in Paper-1 and hence students are supposed to just qualify the paper 2 with 33%.

UPPSC PCS Mains Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS Mains exam will be descriptive in nature which means that candidates need to write answers in essay form. The Mains exam is conducted over a duration of one week. All the Papers of mains are conducted in Morning (9:30 to 12:30) and Afternoon (2 to 5 PM) sessions. Each paper is of 3 hours duration
