UIDAI tops among all Ministries and Departments in resolving Public Grievances during August 2022

UIDAI tops among all Ministries and Departments: In resolving the grievances of the public, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has topped among all Ministries or Departments. The Ranking report has been published by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) for the month of August 2022. The main vision behind launching UIDAI was to empower the people living in India with a unique identity and a digital platform that can be validated anytime and anywhere. UIDAI is constituted under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. In a statement released by the Ministry of Electronics and IT, it is stated that UIDAI is further committed in serving the people of India and has been a catalyst for both ease of living and business.

In the August rankings report published by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has secured the top position among all the government ministries and departments. UIDAI ranked on top because it was able to solve most of the offenses made by the public. UIDAI accepted the cases through Centralized Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).

The grievance redressal mechanism of UIDAI is very strong and comprises UIDAI Headquarter Divisions, Regional Offices, Technology Centre and engaged Contact Centre partners, that enables UIDAI to resolve around 92% of Customer Relationship Management(CRM) Grievances within 7 days. In the coming time UIDAI is dedicated to further strengthen its Grievance Redressal Mechanism. State-of-the-art Open Source CRM solution will be soon rolled out by the organization. To boost up UIDAI service delivery to the residents the new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution has been designed with advanced features. The new CRM solution will possess a new feature as the grievances can be lodged, tracked and resolved effectively through the multi-channels like Phone Call, Email, Chatbot, Web Portal, Social Media, Letter and Walk-in. State-of-the-art Open Source CRM solution is under the advanced stage of implementation and will be launched soon. The Aim of UIDAI is that the voice of the citizens must be heard and the people must be empowered adequately to further enhance trust of residents in the system.
