Hi friends,
This is Punam. I am very happy to inform that I got selected in provisional allotment list of SBI clerk. And I am truly very much grateful to bankers adda as you were always there in every step of my exam preparation. My days started and ended with reading posts and updates on bankers adda from the day I came to know about it.
Here’s is how I reached where I am today. Banking was never in my vision anytime during my academics and future plans, as I am from Pharma background. After working in private sector for 2 and a half year, and after marriage, I felt the need of government job. Thinking of the reputation of banking sector, I decided to give a try. I was working and side by side started preparation. I joined coaching. I experienced that I cannot give 100% for my exam preparation due to job. So, I resigned from the job to completely focus on the examinations.
In 2014, I appeared for SBI PO, RRB officer scale I, RBI assistant, SBI associate assistants, UIICL AO and IBPS clerk. I only cleared IBPS clerk in 2014 and appeared for interview. But could not make it to final list. After the disappointment, I thought that this year I will have full time to study, I again started to fill forms in 2015.
In 2015, I appeared for SBI PO, RBI assistant, RRB officer scale I, RRB assistant, UIICL assistant, IBPS PO, and IBPS clerk. I cleared all the prelims. I cleared RRB assistant, UIICL assistant, IBPS PO main exam. Appeared for all the three interviews. But, not selected in final results. Only hope was IBPS clerk.
But again, disappointed, missed IBPS clerk by 4 marks. I was too much depressed. I could not see any way forward, as I left my job for getting a government job and faced these many failures. I felt that I cannot wait for 1 more year now to see myself working. I already invested 1 and half year and achieved nothing. But, in my whole journey, there was 1 person who always motivated me, encouraged me, my husband. He was confident that my efforts till date will not get wasted. He did not see my results as failures. Rather, he always found that in every examination, I was improving my scores and he believed that I am just 1-2 steps away and little more push in studies will surely give me success. And we both decided to invest 2016 as well, thinking that this time I will give last and best try.
And finally, after 3-4 days SBI clerical recruitment announced. I again started preparation with enthusiasm and as the exam was getting closer, I was again and again telling myself that I will clear main examination. I studied with positivity, I appeared for exam with positivity (both pre and main – pre exam attempts 73, score 74, and main exam attempts 130). Also, I waited for the result with positivity. And finally after 4 months wait after exam, I got what I wished for since 2 years. After seeing too many failures in final lists, I could feel this success as unbelievable and it was life changing moment.
Special thanks to bankers adda team without whom I would not get proper direction and best study material for preparation. I found all the quizzes very useful for practicing my concepts and for General awareness section I followed nothing extra than BA quizzes, capsules. Motivational posts were also inspiring. Overall, bankers adda was my best coach during my journey.
Lastly, I will tell all the aspirants that I could see this success as I never gave up after failures. Always be consistent in studies, keep practicing (you will automatically find own time saving techniques if you regularly practice the quizzes, practice sets, mock tests, etc), have faith, give your best both during preparation and examination and be positive. Keep improving your performance with determination and don’t give up till you achieve it.
All the best to all the friends.
Thanks and Regards,
Punam
