Hello Everyone,

I am Vishwank Gupta. I have done my PGDM (Marketing and Finance) in 2016. Before that, I did my Graduation in BBA (Marketing and Banking & Finance) in 2014. After completing my PGDM I got campus selection at ICICI Securities Ltd. as Senior Relationship Manager.
There I worked for approx. 2 yrs from 2016 to 2018. I was performing well and also got the opportunity to visit foreign nations like the Netherlands, Holland, Spain Croatia and Dubai, as a part of my incentive against my efforts to bring business for the organization.

Later on, when my performance was affected due to some unavoidable circumstances, my father who is working with Baroda UP Gramin Bank, suggested that I should come back and start preparing for the competitive exams, So I resigned from the organization in March 2018. I enrolled myself in local coaching in April 2018, near to my house just to get the idea of the syllabus and strategy as I always knew that major part has to be done from ourselves only.
The first paper, I attempted was of Indian Bank’s Specialist officer without any preparation just to judge myself but was unable to crack it. Then I appeared in many examinations like SSC CGL, CHSL, etc.
Even I appeared in UPSC as well, but due to lots of confusion made me perplexed whether to go with Banking exams or state level kind of exams.
Then I discussed with my friends upon this and finally, I decided to go with Banking exams, though my father is also a banker, so he was not much happy upon this decision of mine. I wasted one full year due to this confusion and could not make any success even didn’t qualify for any Prelims level exam.
Then 2019 came and I started taking up Banking exams and luckily cleared SBI Junior Associate Prelims, LIC ADO Prelims, SSC CGL-Prelims, but cleared LIC ADO Mains only, and a single written exam of Baroda UP Gramin Bank scale 2 Marketing officer.
Then I was focussed on the preparation of Interviews for both these exams.
Luckily I got selected with both the above-mentioned posts and then I had chosen between the two.
As I mentioned that my father doesn’t want me to join a bank, so finally I joined LIC as an Apprentice Development Officer in December 2019. And currently working here as a Development officer at my home town itself.
