Success Story of Surabhi K Shastry | Selected in SBI Clerk 2020

I am Surabhi Shastry from Bangalore. I am a 2019 passed out Bcom graduate. I started preparing for Bank Exams in August 2019 and my first exam was IBPS PO. I had scored 48. Then I missed IBPS Clerk Mains by 2 marks in Quant , in spite of clearing total cut-off (I scored 20 marks more than the cut-off). By that time I lost hopes completely…I had decided to quit. But upon my parents’ suggestion, I waited for SBI Clerk Prelims results. Fortunately, I cleared it with a good score. Then as everyone knows there was only a gap of 10 days for mains, I was very nervous. But somehow I made up my mind and I started working very hard and gave 2 mock tests a day. That was when BANKERSADDA came as a gift to me. I used to download the Current Affairs PDFs from your website. Apart from that, the tips to crack some tricky questions were amazing. The daily sectional quizzes were extremely helpful.  They really worked wonders for me. I am really thankful to BankersAdda247. After all the efforts I was able to attend 118 questions with very few mistakes. Even then I was not hopeful of selection.

Finally, the wait was over and the results were out. I cleared the mains with a good score and the happiest moment was seeing my roll number in the Provisional List PDF. I would also like to mention one thing…all this was possible not because of luck but because of a lot of hard work and sacrifice. From the past 1.5 year, I have studied for nearly 10 to 12 hours a day, collecting every possible material and working out every day. I nearly gave up all entertainment, friends, relaxation, sleep, what not!! It was just PRACTICE PRACTICE and PRACTICE.

A hearty congratulations to everyone who made it to the selection and a message for the ones who couldn’t make it, “No matter if you fall 99 times, don’t worry you can still get up the 100th time. Never give up, believe in yourself, your sheer determination and consistent efforts will open the doors to success and you will fly out with colours”
