Success Story of Soumyadip Chowdhury Selected in IBPS Clerk, SBI Clerk and IBPS PO

Hello Everyone,

I am Soumyadip Chowdhury. Here I am going to share my journey to success with all of you. I completed my B.Tech in 2015 in Mechanical Engineering and after that I did my MBA in 2017. In the meantime, I got an opportunity to work as a Research Associate in one of the renowned institute. Besides that I started preparing for banking examination without any coaching.

In 2017, I appeared in IBPS RRB POIBPS Clerk- VII, IBPS SO, UIIC but didn’t clear the prelims. In IBPS Clerk prelims, I was short of 2 marks. That boosted my confidence so much that I started to believe that I am in right path and I can crack the examination with hard work. So from the very next day of the  prelims result, I started preparation with much more dedication.

I got the success by proper study planning and examination strategy. I followed the YouTube channel of Adda247 mainly and also some other channels. I gave at least 10-15 mock tests both before prelims and mains and after that I analyze the mock result for 30 minutes. My strength was Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and Current Affairs. So, in examination I always tried to score more from this section and tried to find out questions which I should attempt first and questions which I should leave- this was my examination strategy.

For aspirants, I want to tell you that believe me whatever study material available in YouTube, you don’t need to take admission in any coaching institute. Then there are various apps, websites which provide exam oriented material. Only thing you need is hardwork and dedication and for interview confidence is the main thing. Wish you all the best.

Lastly, I want to thank my parents, relatives, friends and one of my seniors who always motivated me during my tough time. Thanks to Adda247 for your valuable material and special thanks to Sumit Sir (Quant sir), Anchal Mam (English) for whom especially I followed Adda247.
