Success Story of Shivani Bhardwaj Selected as IBPS Clerk in Andhra Bank

Hello Everyone,

I am Shivani Bhardwaj, I got selected as a clerk in Andhra bank. I have been preparing for banking exams since December 2018. I have given many exams since then. Prelims were never a problem. I could easily crack prelims but mains needed more practice. I failed most of the mains exams from a very small margin. 

This was my second attempt for the IBPS clerk. Last time I was able to crack the prelims but not the mains. In other words, this is the first-ever mains exam that I cleared. Though I never wanted to be a clerk but something is always better than nothing. I am happy as it has boosted my confidence. I believe that I have a very long way to go ahead and this is just a starting. So yeah, I will prepare harder to achieve even bigger goals.

My strategies were very simple. As prelims were never a problem. I focused more on current affairs as it’s the most important section in mains exams. I daily watch Ashish sir’s current affairs video on the Adda247 youtube channel. Then I prepare the notes for the same. And revise them regularly. I also go through Adda247 capsules before the exams. They are very helpful. My Quants are comparatively weak. So I just try to crack the sectional cutoff in it. 

For reasoning do focus on puzzles of high levels. English was never a problem for me. Adda247 helped me a lot with its daily quizzes as well as exam-specific quizzes.

The only message that I want to give to all aspirants never belittled yourself. We get demotivated at times when we are not able to crack exams, but we should never give up on our dreams. Stay positive and believe yourself!
