Hello Everyone,

I am Shashank Jayant, Selected as IBPS PO in Oriental Bank Of Commerce ( Now Merged with Punjab National Bank).

Thanks, Bankersadda second time for being a part of my journey to success. Earlier, In 2018 I was selected in IBPS- clerk(Corporation bank). After working in the banking sector for 2 years I try my hands again in PO. In 2017-18 I reached till interview but couldn’t make it in the final list. In 2018-19 I was not able to clear prelims just by 0.25 marks. This little margin made me upset and then I again decide not to give up and try again.

Yes, it became a bit difficult to clear the exam along with a job but certainly, it gives you the upper hand as compared to others and your mental stress is remain low which makes you perform better. Well maybe everyone has their perspective but I would suggest to all the aspirants especially working one, Don’t think about quitting the job and then prepare for the exam is a good option. It not only down your moral but also it creates negative impression during the interview because I feel that interview panel like those candidates who decide to work and earn along with preparation rather than quitting the job for preparation. No matter how much salary you are getting.

Those aspirants who are not working should try to get the job of any level either BPO, KPO anywhere as it makes you financially independent. Well, there is an endless list of exams which I have given and the failures which I faced because no one is interested to know how much time you have failed and at last only result matters. Believe me guys the day when you get rewarded for your hard work all your past struggle, bad times, failure will become a sweet memory.

As far as strategy is concerned mine was more about smart work rather than hard work.

Please learn the art of skipping question and don’t make any question your Izzat ka sawal. Skip easy question if it’s not solving in the first attempt because of a very easy question in waiting for you.

At last, I just wanna thank my parents whose never-ending support takes me to the next level. Neha-for making me trust that I can do it and off-course Bankersadda.

Have faith in God and keep working hard. He will reward you in his way.
