Hello Everyone,

I am Rakesh Ranjan, I am from Jamui(Bihar). I have got selected as Probationary Officer in Allahabad Bank, I will always be grateful to Hanumaan Ji, my family, and my mentors for all their support and help. So here I’m to share my journey of becoming a Probationary Officer with you all.

After completing my BA(history) in 2017 I started preparing for SSC CGL but due to it’s time taking procedure I switched to the Banking sector and appeared for my first Banking exam that was IBPS PO (2018), reached to interview but unfortunately missed the final selection by 1.74 marks, also appeared for IBPS CLERK(2018) and got selected as Clerk in PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK.

Then while working as a Clerk I appeared for IBPS PO(2019) and fortunately cleared it and got allotment in ALLAHABAD BANK.

My section-wise strategy:-

Quantitative aptitude:- first clear your basics(watch Sumit sir’s videos) and then just practice as much as and from wherever you can. Focus on miscellaneous topics because it’ll help you in mains.

Reasoning Ability:- Only practice makes a difference here. Solve Adda247 daily Quizzes and take mocks.

English Language:- Only your understanding of this language will help you, read the newspaper daily, attempt daily Quizzes.

General Awareness:- You can completely rely on Adda247 for this, watch Ashish Gautam sir’s daily and weekly GA videos, read The Hindu Review 3-4 times. Just 10-15 days before exams for quick revision, I must recommend Adda Capsule.
