Success Story of Rahul Kumar Selected As IBPS RRB PO & Clerk 2021
Hello everyone, My name is Rahul Kumar. I have cleared both RRB PO and CLERK in 1st attempt. I had started my preparation in March 2020 (The year of lockdown) at that time I was in the 5th semester of BCA. I started my preparation by keeping SBI PO in my mind. First of all, I note down all the syllabus of each subject of prelims as well as mains exam. Then I gave a mock test of SBI PO prelims memory-based paper to familiarise myself with the level of exam and types of questions. Then I started covering each topic one by one of each subject.
QUANTS = For quant, on daily basis I revise Squares up to 60, cubes up to 30, tables up to 32, and percentage to fraction conversion from 1 to 1/25. I covered speed math topics first then complete arithmetic (Except Probability). After all this, I move to DI. I used to solve 6 to 8 pre-level Di and 1 mains level Di.
REASONING = For reasoning, I covered all the miscellaneous topics first starting with inequality. Then I move to puzzles, I used to solve 10 puzzles of pre-level and 1 mains level puzzle daily. I started with the puzzles RRB CLERK pre level, It helps me to increase my level step by step. It is my fav subject it helps me to score more marks in both RRB PO and Clerk.
ENGLISH = For English, I used to take the screenshot of The Hindu vocab session of Santosh Sir, and revise it 2 to 3 times a day. I keep this screenshot for 2 days. I used to read the Hindu editorial daily. Apart from this, I had completed topics of grammar one by one and also the miscellaneous topics.
GA= I used to watch videos of the current affairs of Ashish Sir for the last 3 years, Sir CCC rule helps me a lot, Sir’s daily static awareness dose also helped me a lot. Apart from this, I used to make pdfs of 300+ monthly MCQ and revise it 5 6 times in a month then move to next month. I covered It from Jan to Aug. I also followed Vaibhav sir’s banking awareness classes.
COMPUTER = This section was not a nightmare for me because of most of the topics I had covered in my BCA course. I only used to practice computer questions from mock tests.
INTERVIEW= Interview is all about how well you understand yourself and the organization in which you are going to join. In my interview, most of the questions were from my graduation subjects (BCA) and banking awareness (mostly about RRBs, NABARD, their role, and functions) and some general awareness and current affairs questions.
NOTE = I started my preparation last for both prelims as well as mains simultaneously. I also suggest you guys do the same it will help you tremendously. Give mocks as much as you can. Till RRB CLERK MAINS exam I have given 258 mocks.
My warm congratulations to those who have cleared exams this year and wish you all the best to the aspirants who are going to write exams in2022.Thank you Adda team, Throughout my journey, Adda has helped me a lot. Please convey my special thanks to my fav Ashish Gautam Sir, Santosh Sir, Santanu Sir, and Vaibhav Sir.
