Hello Everyone,

I am Prakash Kumar Panda, I am from Odisha (Jajpur). I got selected as a clerk in Andhra Bank. All credit goes to my family and my God. Now I am sharing my little bit struggle to achieve this success.

After completing my B.com(Accounts), I have started preparing for M.com entrances, but after wasting 4-6 months I realized that it’s not my right path. Then my brother suggested me to prepare for bank exams.

From the starting of 2017, I started my preparation cleared all the preliminary exams but not able to crack a single mains exam (the reason is I was weak in ga). Then I studied hard for the GA section in 2018, everything was going well, suddenly met an accident & got a serious injury on my right shoulders. My doctors referred me for surgery on my right shoulder. I was in the hospital for 1 month and bed rest at home for 3 months. During these days I didn’t do anything due to the screw on my right shoulder(the screw is still my shoulder). I was demotivated. I missed the IBPS exam season 2018 due to my surgery.

Thereafter in 2019, I started from bottom again, and cleared SBI PO pre (73mark), failed in mains. There after cleared RRB PO pre (66.75 marks) cleared mains 15 marks above the cutoff but missed the final cutoff by 0.02 mark. Then RRB clerk cleared prelims (77.50 marks) failed at the computer in the mains exam.

Then I appeared IBPS PO mains exam cleared prelims exam but failed in mains exam in English by 1.5 marks (cutoff 65 I got 69 marks excluding descriptive mark). Then the last exam of 2019 came that is IBPS clerk.

I cleared prelims (84 marks) and also cleared the mains (99.5 marks).

I am very much thankful to Adda247, this is the only test series that helped me to crack IBPS clerk. The reason is in the IBPS Clerk mains mock test of Adda247 my average score was 95-100 & when I saw the question in the real exam it was a total of the same level & I got 99.5 marks.

My section-wise strategy :

Quantitative aptitude: For quant, I cleared my basics from Adda 247 videos then I started giving sectional mock from Adda & daily quiz of Adda247.It helped me a lot. The mock test of Adda 247 is not comparable to any other mock test.

Reasoning: This is my favorite subject, I scored maximum in this subject. I used to solve more than 30 puzzles in a day thereafter other thing I.e. coding, blood relation, etc. The level of the puzzle in the Adda 247 quiz and test series is based on the exam pattern. I used to give 2-3 Preliminary mocks every day and 2-3 mains mock in a week.

English- I am weak in the English section. So I just targeted to clear the sectional cutoff in English. I used to practice daily Adda 247 quiz & sectional mock in English which helped me a lot.

General Awareness: I was average in the GA section, then I started following the monthly Hindu review of Adda247 and daily gk update of Adda 247 it’s enough. I scored 26 in IBPS clerk mains.
