Hello Everyone,

My name is Nikita H Patil and I am from Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. I cleared the IBPS Clerk exam and got Bank of India. I completed my Engineering in 2017 and after that, I even worked in MNC but I was always interested in Banking exams so I decided to why not give one chance.

Everybody starts asking me why banking after engineering?

I think there are stability and security in this field and also you got the chance to get a promotion by giving exams.

So my journey started in 2018. First I cleared all my basics of each section and then give exams like SBI PO, SBI Clerk,IBPS PO but could not even clear prelims. I was devastated at that time feeling like have I chose the wrong path but at that time my family supports me a lot especially my brother. Then again I started preparing.

In 2019, I gave SBI PO, SBI Clerk, LIC ADO, ESIC UDC, FCI, and IBPS PO and I cleared all prelims but couldn’t clear mains. But finally cracked IBPS clerk.

I was a little bit apprehensive also about my clerk’s result but in one corner of my mind, I knew that I will crack this exam.

The exigent part of this exam is to give as much as mocks as possible and analyze the mistakes.

My Strategy for each section:-

English Language:- Revise all grammar rules, daily read newspapers, and maintain vocabulary diary. Solve daily 1 RC, close test, and para jumbles because these questions are inevitable in the exam and at night solve the Adda247 daily quiz.

Reasoning Ability:- This section is everyone’s favorite but this is the toughest section in the mains exam. So daily solve 1 Input-output, coding-decoding, and puzzle. And again Adda247 quiz at night

Quantitative Aptitude:- Clear all your basic concepts from each chapter because basic will help you in the mains exam. Solve daily DI, simplification, number series, and again 1 quiz.

General awareness:- Many students ignore this section and decide to do after prelims and that’s the blunder. Because this section is most important in getting your final selection. So maintain your notebook of current affairs from the Adda247 current affairs section daily. As handwritten notes help you revise easily. Most questions will be from Adda 247 current affairs section.

My advice to all the students is that focus on your studies. Practice and practice and focus on accuracy and speed. Focus on mains first then you will automatically clear prelims.

My credit to this success is to my parents and brother and my few friends and of course God. But still, my main aim is to clear the SBI PO or RBI assistant exam as I clear its prelims and waiting for the mains exam.
