Success Story of Maanas Sharma Selected as IBPS Clerk in Corporation Bank |

Hello everyone,

My name is Maanas Sharma from Kota, Rajasthan. I completed my B.Com. in 2018 and started preparing for banking exams after that. To clear my basic concepts and doubts I joined offline coaching and then followed YouTube channels.

I started practicing questions from daily tests and mocks available on the Adda247 App. In 2019 I appeared for SBI CLERK, IBPS RRB CLERK, IBPS PO/CLERK but did not get selected in mains after that I started working more sincerely on my weak subjects in the following ways:-

Reasoning ability: I practiced puzzles daily both from YouTube free classes and tests from the adda247 App, which helped me increase my speed, accuracy, and reading skills.

Quantitative aptitude:- I first practiced questions on approximation/simplification/number series as these are the most important and scoring topics in an exam, after that my focus was on chapters like percentage, ratio, time & work, speed time and distance.

English language:- I just needed to improve in the reading parts and vocabulary, for which I started reading free English newspapers and magazines published by the Adda247 App.

General awareness:- I relied mainly on Adda247 weekly/monthly PDF for current affairs. To learn more I watched the live sessions on Youtube daily.

A month before the exam I Purchased a test series and start attempting them to increase my speed and subject mocks for individual topics.

I appeared in these exams in 2019:-

SBI CLERK PRE – out in MAINS
IBPS CLERK PRE – out in MAINS
IBPS PO PRE – out in MAINS
IBPS CLERK – selected in Corporation Bank
