Hello all,

I am Kranthi Kumar Thandra from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. I got selected as IBPS Clerk in the Central Bank of India. I am grateful for Adda247 for giving me this opportunity to share my journey with all of you.

I completed my Graduation in 2015 and placed in a core company in college placements. I worked there for 3.5 years and felt not okay being there. So I quit my job in mid-2019 and decided to prepare for banking exams.

This is my first attempt in banking exams and by god’s grace, I cleared IBPS Clerk but in IBPS PO I missed final selection by 1.5 marks.

My Section-wise strategy:

English: I was always good at English since my graduation and felt no difficulty in banking English. But there are some things I would like to tell you to improve your English.

a. Watch English movies or Tv series with subtitles
b. Read novels and Hindu editorials daily
c. Solve Adda247 English quizzes.

Reasoning and Quant: These subjects felt new to me as I didn’t open an aptitude book for 4 years. For these subjects first learn the concepts thoroughly and have a good understanding. Next practice those concepts in questions. Remember practice is the key here. Solve daily quizzes of Adda247.

General Awareness:

Read, revise, and repeat. Reading and revising is the key here. I went through the daily gk updates of Adda247 and regularly revised the monthly magazines. Do these and you will get through.
