Success Story of Dipanshu Jagga Selected as IBPS Clerk in Canara Bank |

Hello Everyone,

I am Dipanshu Jagga from Hisar, Haryana. My Banking journey starts in the year 2014. I completed my Engineering in 2014 from a private college where there was no campus placement. There is only one major company in my city which don’t recruit locals because of some union issues. After Graduation, I started searching for a job in my city but couldn’t find any job according to my qualification. And I have some family problems because of which I can’t leave my home. So I started preparing for Bank exams.

In 2015, I have done self-study and didn’t take my preparation seriously because I was upset of unemployment as I didn’t get a job just after my very costly B.tech as what everyone said to me that “B.tech me bhut scope hai” and here I was an unemployed engineer with zero skills. I was disheartened. This year was one of my worst years because nothing achieved this year. I honestly passed this year with a total waste of time.

In 2016, I decided to get a job in the banking sector and started preparation with full dedication and enthusiasm. This was the year I promise myself that I am going to be a banker no matter what it takes. This year I joined a coaching center near my home and attend all classes with full energy and work on my weak areas. I have given all the IBPS exams in 2016 and guess what I failed in all exams. I didn’t even clear any pre-exam of banking. My almost all pre exams I missed by 0.25 marks or 0.50 marks or 1 marks. After seeing these results I get demotivated and start thinking of an alternate option of job and thought that I will prepare with some private job near my home. So I joined an Internet Service Provider company in January 2017.

In 2017, I have done 4 months job in ISP company and left it because I was unable to study along with the job. There was a lot of stuff to do in the job and I was exhausted and was unable to do preparation. Then I heard about the Career Power Coaching Centre which was a branch of bankersadda.com and joined the Career Power Hisar branch for banking preparation. From there I get to know about the Adda247 app which changed my preparation methods and ways. Now I again cleared my basics of all subjects by Adda247 faculties. This year I cleared 3 pre exams (IBPS PO, clerk, and RRB PO). This gives me hope that I can crack it.

In 2018, I started doing practice on the Adda247 app and I attended daily quizzes of all banking subjects which increase my speed and improves my accuracy. From this year I stopped doing offline practice and started online practice Due to all this practice, I cleared almost all pre exams and 2 mains exams (IBPS PO and Canara Bank PGDBF) but couldn’t get to the final merit list. At the end of this year, I was hopeless. My mind was blank when I see my IBPS PO mains result on 1st April 2019. I was crying at that time. I have nothing left at that time. Everybody was sad. That was the first time I see my mom crying for me. I could not forget that day which breaks my all hopes and I was motionless. I was thinking about my life that may be a Government job is not for me. Destiny has written some other things for me. I was demotivated and saddened. I was thinking that I had done nothing in these past 4 years except preparing for bank exams. I didn’t improve my skills in any section which can give me a job. Then my best friend my mother give me strength and told me to give one last shot. She told me to give one more try with full energy and full dedication. She believes in me and She always told me that you can do it, You are so close to the target, I know you will get a job this time. My mother is a very bold lady. She always supported me in this struggle period. She always tells me that I know you have the capability to crack the exam.

In 2019, I cracked all pre exams, SBI PO MAINS, IBPS PO MAINS, RRB PO MAINS but couldn’t get my name to any merit list. But got my name in the IBPS CLERK MAINS exam on 20th May 2020. I got Canara Bank. I was in tears when I see my result and couldn’t hold myself at that time. This day was one of the most precious days of my life. My mother’s reaction was awesome. I can’t express that feeling in words. She said that “Aaj meri Tapasya safal ho gyi” and laughed and then tears roll over her eyes. This feeling was awesome.

Finally, after 5 years of struggle, I am a banker. I want to tell you all that I was very weak in the Maths section. I was that much weak that I face difficulties in even calculation part of maths. I overcome this by doing practice and only practice. If I can do this anybody can do this believe me.

I have purchased the Adda247 yearly mock test series in these years which helped me to analyze my mistakes in a very good manner. I liked the Adda247 test series interface a lot that’s why I always purchased its test series and it became my habit too.

At last, I want to thank again some of my mentors because of them This success is Impossible for me.
