Hello Everyone!

I am sharing my experience and story mainly to encourage working Moms.

I am Bhargavi Gujjula from Warangal in Telangana. I completed my graduation in 2015 and got selected in an MNC during my college placements.

In 2016 I got married. Me and my husband who worked in TCS decided to start taking bank exams. Daily morning and evening before and after office hours we used to prepare for exams.

My husband got selected in Andhra bank as a clerk in 2018 and I was still trying to get through the exams. Meanwhile, We had a kid but it didn’t distract me from my preparation since my mother-in-law was with us to support us. After two and a half years and this time being a mother of two kids, I got selected in UCO bank as PO in the UR category.

Here is my preparation strategy:

I used to prepare whenever I get time during my office hours. Used my weekends properly and practice was my only weapon since speed is the one thing we need in the exam

General Awareness: Followed GA from the Adda247 app. Gave memory tests and followed capsules before the exams

Quant: I was a bit weak in quant so I concentrated on my strongest topics during the prelims and practiced more for Mains. Adda247 provides daily quizzes and they helped me a lot.

Reasoning: This is my strongest part and I used to practice the quizzes and gave mock tests from adda247 to build my confidence.

English: Gave Mock tests on the Bankersadda website.

My Analysis over these years:-

The year 2016: Attempted banking exams for the first time to check and analyze the competition and got to know my strengths and weaknesses. Couldn’t clear the prelims here.

The Year 2017: I had a strategy and started preparing and cleared a few prelims but couldn’t clear the mains. I analyzed that GA is a scoring section and shouldn’t take a chance to select the answer.

The Year 2018: I could clear prelims and mains and appear for 2 interviews (RRB PO and IBPS PO). And cleared the interview of IBPS PO. I was also carrying while taking all these exams and interviews this year which was very challenging for me.

After one year in 2020, the result was out and I got selected through the reserve list as PO in UCO Bank in the UR category. I appeared in so many exams in these 3 years that I couldn’t recollect them.
