Success Story of Abha Jha Selected as IBPS Clerk in Bank of India

Hello Everyone,

I am Abha Jha from Kolkata. I have been selected as IBPS Clerk in the Bank of India. I am a B.Com Graduate.

I started my banking preparation in 2017 when my best friend got selected in SBI. Even I appeared for that exam but couldn’t clear at that time. From that moment a different kind of spark was generated in me. I started my preparation very seriously. I appeared for many exams but couldn’t even clear the prelims.

In 2018, IBPS PO was the first exam I cleared the unexpected prelims exam.I was not at all prepared for mains but somehow tried my luck. I didn’t clear the mains. But after that exam, a great thing happened. Now I could clear all the prelims exams and also able to attempt 90+in it. But always got stuck in mains. I appeared for IBPS clerk, FCI, LIC but only got failure. I was all hear broken till then. I decided that the next exam will be the last one. But it was my fiance Amit who is now my husband, motivated me. He always believed in me more than anyone. 

So again in 2019, I cleared IBPS clerk pre and appeared for mains. I attempted 123 with good accuracy. On 20 may 2020 I got the good news of my success. It was a golden day for me. I forgot all the failures which I had faced. I could only remember that I have finally achieved my dream job.

Friends, I would like to tell you if you are determined to get that one job just focus on your preparation and learn from your failures. Try to clear all your doubts from YouTube channels.

In my case, I always took help from Adda247 videos. I was very weak in quant but sumit sir videos had cleared all my basic concepts. Also, follow their test series and judge yourself. for GK you will get a monthly capsule from the Adda247 app.

Mistakes that I had made during my Preparation:- 

Most of us think that lets clear pre-first then we will prepare for mains. Never do that friends. Believe that you have cleared the pre from the first day and start preparing for mains. Because after pre results you will only get a maximum of 20 days and that won’t be enough for the mains preparation. Try to explore your preparation always. 

My strategy in clearing exams.

• Daily quizzes For each subject
• Puzzles and DI of all levels.
• Daily gk updates and quiz
• Mock test for prelims daily and once in a week for mains and always analyze it

Message to Aspirants:- 

First, clear your basics and then increase your speed with the help of the Adda test series. For mains, prepare for GK, solve hard puzzles, and DI.

Just believe in yourself. Wait for that opportunity!
