HIMANSHI SINGH (IBPS PO AND IBPS CLERK)

I’ve read many success stories on BA  and always want to be a part of it. I am really happy that now I got the chance.  I am Himanshi from Ghaziabad, UP. I completed my graduation in B.tech (IT) in 2016. During my last semester, I decided to go into the Banking industry as I was never fascinated by IT industry. Before starting preparation I gave SBI clerk exam and failed in prelims by point marks. After graduation, I joined Career Power, Raj Nagar Branch (Ghaziabad). 

My attempts in 2016:

IBPS PO: failed in prelims

IBPS Clerk: failed in mains

IBPS RRB PO: failed in prelims

IBPS RRB Clerk: failed in mains

 After tasting failure, I was completely shattered. Didn’t talk to anyone. I lost all my hopes. People were making fun of me as I was jobless and almost everyone was doing a private job. I gathered myself up and started again but now with a new strategy.

I am sharing my  strategy below which may help you:

GA: GA section proved to be the game-changer in these exams and daily quizzes and Capsules provided by Bankersadda will surely change the game for anyone.

REASONING: this was my strongest subject so I never referred any book. I improved my speed and accuracy by giving speed tests.

MATHS: My few topics were strong like DI, simplification, number series quadratic. calculation speed was also good enough so I focussed more on the rest of the easy topics.

ENGLISH: I learned all the rules and solved practice sets and online mocks regularly.

After qualifying mains, For the interview, I joined Career Power interview classes under the guidance of Harish Kher sir and I got 70 marks in interview.

My attempts in 2017:

IBPS PO: selected in Allahabad bank

IBPS Clerk: selected in Dena bank

IBPS RRB PO: failed in mains by few marks

IBPS RRB Clerk: in  reserve list

For all aspirants, I will advise go through the basics of all subjects, have them concreted in your mind. PRACTICE is the only key to crack bank exams, improve your speed and accuracy by solving full-length speed tests. do not bother negative comments. believe in yourself.
