Bankers Adda Success Story

Today I am writing my success story…
I belong to Panna district of MP. When I was one-year old I lost my father, my mother made all the sacrifices to see smiles on my face. I was good in studies throughout my school life. After completing my 12th exam I opt for engineering. When I was in the third year, I started preparation for campus placement and I cleared written exam of about 30 companies but always get rejected in either interview or GD. In last month of my college, I got placed in a core company, but the location was very far from my home. I didn’t want to go 1000km away from my mother.

So I started preparing for govt. exam. Ibps clerk 2015 was my first bank exam And I scored 67 in pre without any coaching, but missed mains cut off by 3 marks.I analyzed my score and found that I was good in reasoning and aptitude, but weak in GA and average in English section. So I started working on my weak areas.

My strategy –

For Quant and reasoning- I did at least two hours of practice daily and try to solve as many DI, Series, Coding decoding, Puzzle question possible.
For English- I first completed two books And then started reading the newspaper, novels and attempting quizzes.
For Computer and GK-Being from the engineering background, I have good computer knowledge so I just solve quizzes from various sites. For GK I followed Daily GK update and quizzes from the Adda24/7 app and made notes from that.

My journey-

Exams in which I failed-
SSC cgl 2015 Pre-100(cutoff 102)
Ibps Clerk 2015 Pre-67.50   Mains-139(cut off 142)
Lic AAO 2016 -230(cut off255) not qualified for interview
SBI PO 2016 pre-47(cutoff 47.5 First prelims which I could not cleared.
Sbi Clerk 2016 pre-78,  Mains -123(cutoff130)
Ibps PO 2017 pre-51, Mains-60 despite good interview not selected because of low marks in the mains
Ibps RRB PO Pre-61   mains-109(cutoff for MP 111)
Nonbanking exam-
SSC CGL-120(cut-off 137) not cleared
Railway NTPC-waiting for tier2 result
MP SI- Cleared written (didn’t attend physical)
Exam I cleared-
Ibps RRB clerk pre 77 mains 148.9
Final result-Madhyanchal Gramin bank
Ibps clerk pre-84 mains-84.16
Final result-Union bank of India

After all these 2 years of failure, I get success. Whenever I feel like losing my confidence I used to remember the reason for which I started the preparation.
I would like to thank my mother, friends and bankersadda team for my success. If you want to succeed then you all need to work hard and keep doing practice.  A quote which inspired me alot.

“If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don’t, you’ll find an excuse.”

Good luck to all.
