Neha (Patna, Bihar)
Union Bank of India (PO)
Those early mornings and late nights will pay off. 🙂
My journey began in June 2014, that’s when I completed my B.Com. I had a dream to study in one of the top twenty MBA colleges in India. I attempted for that thrice but could not make it to any of them. It was not too late when I realized that I just passed almost two years of my life and yet had nothing in my hand. I was merely an UNEMPLOYED GRADUATE.
It’s said – “A goal must be SMART”, where “R” is for “realistic”. May be I chose a goal that was unrealistic, given my potential. It left me disheartened.
“Sometimes on the way to your dream, you get lost and find a better one.”
This is what happened with me. My bhaiya started guiding me. He told me to take IBPS 2015. I did so, but could not clear mains (missed by 5 marks). I knew where I lagged behind- GENERAL AWARENESS section. I did not know how to improve GA. But thanks to BA, SWAPNIL SONAM and BHAIYA, that I managed to score highest marks in GA this time and cleared IBPS PO. 🙂
Dear friends, during the course of our preparations the most difficult part is dealing with the problems of our life. Dealing with our fear of failure. Dealing with the pain of missing an opportunity by 0.5 marks. Dealing with the apprehensions of our parents regarding our future. Dealing with the hesitation of taking Rs. 600 from our parents for filling up the forms and above all, dealing with the question – “Abhi kya kar rahe ho?”.
And you know what’s the easiest thing to do?
– STUDYING!
So, all that matters is your attitude towards these problems. My advice for that- “IGNORE THE WORLD, STAY FOCUSSED AND KEEP STUDYING.”
Always remember! Everyone has his or her own problems in life but the ones who do not succumb to them are the ones who succeed.
Whenever you feel like giving up, think of your parents who spent more than two decades of their life doing all that is possible to give you a comfortable life. Remember, that you have to make some people regret that they criticized you even for once. Remember, If you have a dream, it’s you who’s got to protect it.
These are not some random set of problems that I’ve mentioned. These are the ones that I had to face.
So, despite all this, if I can, anybody can!
This was just my journey.
The success belongs to the MOTHER, who gave up on all her desires just to make her daughter capable enough of staying focussed despite all the difficulties of life.
It belongs to the FATHER who led a simple life just to make sure that his family could live a comfortable life. It belongs to the TEACHERS who always had time for their student- SHASHI SIR & SAILESH SIR. It belongs to the brother who has been more like a father, to the sister who never lost faith in me and to MAMA JI, AMAN BHAIYA, GUNEET, and SONAM for always being by my side during my toughest times.
P.S. – “To be successful your focus has to be so intense that people start calling you crazy and when they do so, just smile and say-
“HUMARI KHUSHIYON MEIN
PAGALPAN KE LACHCHE HAIN
HUMEIN PAGAL HI REHNE DO
HUM PAGAL HI ACHHE HAIN.”
“Stay hungry, stay foolish.”
– Steve Jobs.
All the very best to all the aspirants for their forthcoming exams!
