As the official notification and exam dates of SBI PO 2018 are already out, you all must have already started to prepare yourself for the Examination. Since the preliminary examination is going to be held in July, it’s high time to put the pedal to the metal, batten down the hatches and get yourself ready for SBI PO Examination as the competition is going to be really tough. You still have time to prepare for the exam. This plan is a weekly one, a new initiative by Bankersadda, to provide a flexible approach to each individual for his/her preparation.
This study plan will benefit you with the time management according to the individual time requirement of the topics. There are some topics which require less time to prepare while others take more time to prepare. Let’s take an example:
Suppose you dedicate one day each to prepare inequalities and syllogisms. Now one day is sufficient to prepare for inequalities but, on the other hand, syllogism is a tricky topic and will take more time to clear the concepts.
This study plan will provide you with topics that you need to prepare each week and then you can divide your time according to the requirements of each topic. This plan based on the previous year’s exam analysis of SBI PO ’16 and ’17.

After having gone through the study plan making amendments to the existing knowledge base and sharpening your skills, the last 13 days are the most crucial ones wherein you must work more and more on analyzing your performance and giving the final touch for the D-day. Let us discuss how to go about doing the SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
1. Strengths: Analyze the topics in which you are good at and prepare them well so that you crack that questions in the exam with full accuracy.
2. Weaknesses: Look for the topics in which you did not score well and practice them more frequently.
3. Opportunities: Now you will have to make a strategy to convert your strengths into your opportunities. Attempt those questions which you can do accurately in less amount of time.
4. Threats: Do not attempt to focus only on the quantity of questions, but also on the quality of your attempts. Negative marking poses a serious threat to any aspirant’s dream of being a banker. Therefore, you need to be very tenacious with your accuracy while attempting questions. So, focus on attempting maximum questions with good accuracy.
Before you set forth on embarking your journey towards fulfilling your dream, remember, there will be times when you may feel low. But you must not let your preparation schedule get hampered by this and should go on with the plan. SBI PO is one of the most sought-after jobs thus attracting a very fierce competition from aspirants all across India. In the words of Steve Jobs:
“There are times when you run a marathon and you wonder, Why am I doing this?
But you take a drink of water, and around the next bend, you get your wind back, remember the finish line, and keep going.”
