Union Minister of Tribal Affairs launched the ambitious scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs named Van Dhan. The scheme is for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Minor Forest Produce (MFP) and Development of Value Chain of MFPs at a National Workshop organized by TRIFED. The Scheme will offer remunerative Minimum Support Price for 50 commercially viable items to the Tribals.

Under “Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Scheme”, total 30,85,205 persons have been enrolled. This voluntary and contributory pension scheme is benefited for unorganized workers. Under this scheme assures the minimum monthly pension of 3000 rupees to the beneficiaries after attaining the age of 60 years.

Deposits in bank accounts opened under Jan Dhan scheme have crossed the Rs 1 lakh crore mark. As per the latest finance ministry data, the total balance in over 36.06 crore Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana accounts was at Rs 1,00,495.94 crore as on 03rd July 2019.
