I had my group exercise and PI at around 8 in the morning. It took about one and an hour for the verification. Then we went for the group exercise.
GD Topic- “India should focus on growth and development or equality of wealth”.
It was a good experience in the beginning but it turned into a fish market; everyone was cutting off everyone and it got messy but at last, we all got to a conclusion. I spoke about 3-4 times. The people there told us that it is a misconception that the person who speaks first or last gets more marks. They told us they were just there to check our skills. Then we were given another task.
Group Exercise – Skills that a Manager should have
We were given a list of some skills that a manager should have and we were supposed to rank them individually and then we were supposed to discuss the order. Everyone had different opinions and there was a lot of one to one conversations. I spoke about 12-13 times in it.
Personal Interview
Then we were taken for the interview and my number was 9 in the panel of 10 people. My interview started at 12:50 (yes 10 minutes before the lunch and one more candidate was supposed to go after me). So I went in and they asked about my gap and I told them that I have been tutoring and preparing for the exams.
Secondly, they asked me that in my view which is one of the biggest reforms in India in 2017? Then there was a lady who asked me the difference between Arithmetic Progression and Geometric progression. Then forth panelist asked me about the volume of cone and cylinder. Then they asked me how much do I weigh (I guess they were just tired so they didn’t ask me much) and in the end, they asked me about a recent news about cricket…that was it.
I was scared in the morning and really nervous but everyone there was good and helped us and even the panelists were very nice. It took about 5 hours in the total process.
