SBI PO Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The SBI PO Mains is the second stage of the exam, consisting of an objective test and a descriptive test. The objective test includes 170 questions from sections such as English Language, Data Analysis & Interpretation, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and General/Economy/Banking Awareness, carrying 200 marks, with a time limit of 180 minutes. Negative marking applies, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. Following the objective test, candidates must complete a Descriptive Test on Communication Skills (Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis, & Precis Writing), which is worth 50 marks and must be finished in 30 minutes.
- The Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Tests for 50 marks.
- There will be four sections and a descriptive section.
- The SBI PO Mains Descriptive Test 2025 assesses Communication Skills, including tasks such as writing Emails, Reports, Situation Analysis, and Precis Writing. This section carries a total of 50 marks, and candidates are required to complete it within 30 minutes.
