QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE (Moderate)
 
SBI Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019 (Quantitative Aptitude): The level of quantitative aptitude was moderate. As per the review shared by aspirants who appeared for SBI Clerk mains 2019 exam, this section was a bit time consuming and lengthy. There were three sets of DI  based on the following 

  • Pie Chart+Tabulation
  • Bar graph it was calculative and based on percentage.
  • Tabular DI

There were 7 questions from Wrong number series, out of which some questions were of conventional type and the rest of the questions were different than usual- Each question included two wrong series to be solved.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE (Moderate-Difficult)
 
SBI Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019 (English Language): This section was of moderate level. This year’s SBI Clerk mains 2019 English section was comprised of many Reading Comprehensions. In this year’s examination, different topics like word rearrangement, cloze test/fillers, inference based questions, passage-based questions all were clubbed into various short passages of reading comprehension. So we can categorize reading comprehensions into two types- One which included many inference based question and passage related question and second which included questions of word rearrangement and fillers. 

A different type of fillers was asked in this exam-Where in the question two words were given along with three sentences with on blank in each sentence. The candidate had to identify the one sentence in which both the words will fit making it grammatically and meaningfully correct. There were 5 such questions in the English language section.

REASONING AND COMPUTER APTITUDE (Difficult)

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019 (Reasoning & Computer Aptitude): This section had 50 questions and the level of reasoning was Moderate-difficult. Following were types of puzzles asked in reasoning section of SBI Junior Associate Mains Exam 2019: 

 
  • Liner seating arrangement-Six members all were facing north and age was given (two-variable seating arrangement)
  • Linear seating arrangement- 7 members facing north-south 
  • Month based puzzle with blood relation-8 members, 3 months and 3 years were given 
  • Random arrangement based puzzle-3 teachers, 5 subjects and  classes were given
  • Box based puzzle-9 boxes and numbers of pens were given
  • Order and ranking based puzzle- Designation and  Year of joining of employees in a company were given (two-variable)

GENERAL AWARENESS (Easy-Moderate)
SBI Clerk Mains Exam Analysis 2019 (General Awareness): This section had 50 questions and a time limit of 35 minutes. Overall the level of this section was Moderate. Most of the questions were from the current affairs of January-July. Approx 32-34 questions were from this section. Around 10-12 were asked from banking awareness section. 3-4 questions were based on the budget.
