QUESTION: What is the pattern of SBI Apprentice recruitment examination?

The pattern for SBI Apprentice examination is very general and candidate can easily ace through if prepared religiously. This recruiting process is a one stage task containing only the preliminary examination which is online and objective in nature. Merit list is made on the marks of prelims exams only.

Preliminary Examination 

This is objective in nature and time for each section is fixed. Also, it is conducted in online mode.

Note: 1/4th marks per question for every wrong answer as a penalty.

QUESTION: What is the age criteria for applying in the SBI Apprentice engagement?

The age will be calculated from 31st august 2019. According to the official notification released by SBI, the following age criteria is fixed for the candidates:

According to the official notification of SBI Apprentice, a candidate should have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university to meet the educational qualification level for this exam.

QUESTION: What is the stipend and duration of internship/apprenticeship?

The duration for SBI Apprenticeship is one year. The stipend released for the internee will be as per apprentices act, 1961 which fixes it to be 70% of semi-skilled wages. It will be around Rs. 8000. However, the internee will not be able to enjoy any allowances given to the regular employees.

There are a total of 700 seats for internship in SBI in 3 states: Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.

QUESTION: What is the selection procedure for the SBI Apprentice 2019?

Candidate must first apply for the apprenticeship from the official website after meeting the educational and other criteria. There is a preliminary examination which contains four sections: english, quants, reasoning and general awareness. A merit list will be prepared after checking the performance of all candidates. After appearing in merit list, a local language test will be conducted so as to test the language proficiency of a candidate. Candidate who will clear the cut-off marks and find a place in the merit list according to his/her score will be alloted a particular area to work as an internee in SBI. 

QUESTION: Is there any interview for SBI Apprentice?

No, there is no interview conducted for apprenticeship of SBI. However, candidates have to go through the language test which is basically a local language test. Here is local language test assigned to a particular state for 2019:
