The basic pay that a SAIL Management Trainee will receive during their probation period is Rs. 50,000/- per month on the pay scale of Rs.50,000-1,60,000. The probation period will continue for a time period of 1 year and after its successful completion, the employees will be deputed to the post of Assistant Manager in E1 Grade. As Assistant Managers the employees will be offered a salary on the pay scale of Rs.60000-1,80,000/-. At E1 Grade, the CTC will be approximately Rs. 16 lakhs per annum(excluding PRP, location based allowances etc.)
