RRB ALP 2024
An important notice by the Ministry of Railways, Government of India is being circulated regarding the RRB ALP Vacancy 2024. The zonal railways have demanded an additional demand of Assistant Loco Pilots(ALPs). Zonal Railways in consultation with RRB Bangalore will process the revised request for additional Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies immediately through the OIRMS system in one-week time. As mentioned in the notice candidates who have applied for RRB ALP 2024 should be allowed to revise their choice of RRB if there are any changes in the number of vacancies.

RRB ALP 2024 Exam Date Out
The Railway Recruitment Board has announced the RRB ALP Exam Date 2024 for Assistant Loco Pilot at www.rbcdg.gov.in. The RRB ALP CBT-I (Computer Based Test-I) Exam is scheduled to be held on 25, 26, 27, 28, and 29 November 2024. The second stage of RRB ALP 2024, i.e. CBT 2 is tentative to be held in December 2024, and the last stage of the RRB ALP 2024 Recruitment process, i.e. CBAT. Note: The Railway Recruitment Board has published a message about the age limit for the RRB ALP Recruitment in 2024. They mentioned that if someone got too old and could not participate in railway recruitments because of the Covid situation, they now get a 3-year extension on the maximum age limit.

RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 Application Fees
Candidates submitting their application forms for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 will have to submit the application fees online. The Railway Recruitment Board will accept the form only after the successful payment of fees. Aspirants belonging to the General, OBC Category will have to pay a fee of Rs.500 and SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class candidates will have to pay Rs.250 for RRB Recruitment 2024.

RRB ALP CBT II 2024 Exam Pattern
The CBT II for RRB ALP 2024 has two parts: Part A and Part B. The sections of Part A are: General Awareness & Current Affairs, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Mathematics, Basic Science & Engineering. The Part B of RRB ALP CBT II tests the knowledge of aspirants in the relevant trade. For Part A time duration of 90 minutes will be allotted and for Part B 60 minutes will be given counting to a total of 2 Hours 30 Minutes.
