The RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam was conducted in 2 Shifts. In the Morning Shifts, firstly the Paper 3 i.e. Finance and Management was conducted & after that Paper 1 i.e. Economic & Social Issues was held. RBI has successfully conducted the RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam today on 1st April 2021. The overall paper was held in 2 Shifts, Morning Shift (Paper 3 & Paper 1) was conducted & Afternoon Shift (Paper 2) was conducted. This year RBI has changed the exam pattern of Phase 2 by introducing the Descriptive Questions in Paper 1 & Paper 3. As per our review, the overall exam was MODERATE. RBI Grade B Phase 2 Good Attempts

RBI Grade B Phase 2 2021 was conducted with a new pattern which comprises both the Objective & Descriptive Part. In the Descriptive Part for Paper 3 & Paper 1, the aspirant has to attempt a maximum of 4 Questions out of the 6 Questions while in Paper 2 they need to attempt all the 3 questions i.e. Reading Comprehension, Precis Writing & Essay. In Objective Paper of Paper 1 & Paper 3, a total of 30 Questions is asked in the exam, out of which the good attempts could be between 13-17.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam: Paper 1: Economic & Social Issues Analysis 

Economic & Social Issue Paper was conducted in Morning Shift after the Finance & Management Paper was over. For Paper I, 30 minutes duration was allotted to attempt 30 objective type questions & 90 Minutes was allowed to attempt 4 Descriptive Questions out of the 6 Questions. The word limit was 600 words for 15 marks questions and 400 words for 10 marks questions.

Overall the Paper 1 was moderate to difficult. The Descriptive Paper was tougher than the objective part. In the objective part, there were a total of 30 Questions, 20 Questions of 2 Marks each & 10 Question of 1 Marks each.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam: Paper 3: Finance and Management

Paper III (Finance and Management) was conducted 1st in the Morning Shift followed by Paper I (Economics and Social Issues) and Paper II (English) in the afternoon shift. Just like in Paper 1, 30 minutes duration was allotted to attempt 30 objective type questions for Paper 2 & 90 Minutes was given to attempt 4 Descriptive Questions out of the 6 Questions for Paper 2. The word limit was 600 words for 15 marks questions and 400 words for 10 marks questions. Overall, the Paper 3 was Easy to Moderate. In the objective paper of F & M, there were a total of 30 Questions, 20 Questions of 2 Marks each & 10 Question of 1 Marks each.

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam: Paper 2: English (Writing Skills)

The paper on English writing skills is framed in a manner to assess the writing skills including expression and understanding of the topic. The Paper includes a total of 3 Questions, 1 each on essay writing, précis writing and comprehension etc. Candidates need to type answers with the help of the keyboard of the computer. Overall this section was moderate.  The following questions were asked in the English paper.

a) Precis writing was based on Sand Mining (Related to Urbanization & Soil Exploitation) | 140 Words Limit

b) Reading Comprehension was based on Counter Economy (Black Marketing): In this, 5 Questions were asked of 6 Marks Each.  Answers to typed within 50-60 Words Limit.
