RBI Grade B Educational Qualification

Candidates aspiring to appear for the RBI Grade B Exam must meet specific educational qualifications, which vary depending on the post of Grade B Officer they are applying for. RBI Grade B Age Limit

In addition to educational qualifications, candidates must also meet the age criteria specified in the RBI Grade B Eligibility.  In general, for the RBI Grade B Exam, age limit for candidates must falls between 21 years and 30 years. Nevertheless, the criteria also provide for age relaxations in certain categories. RBI Grade B Nationality

Apart from educational qualification and age limit, Candidates who wants to apply for the RBI Grade B Exam 2024 must meet the specific nationality criteria established by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The eligibility criteria for nationality are outlined as follows:

• Citizen of India: To apply for the RBI Grade B Exam 2024, candidates should be citizens of India. While submitting the application form, aspirants have to fill in their nationality.
• Nepal/ Bhutan: Nepal and Bhutan are the neighbouring countries of India. Candidates residing in these countries and are eligible and interested in RBI Grade B 2024 can submit the application forms.
• To permanently reside in India from:
  • Tibet (refugee)- came to India before 01 January, 1962
  • Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam (of Indian Origin)

Note: A candidate who is not a citizen of India has to possess the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

RBI Grade B Number of Attempts

Candidates also need to consider the number of attempts for the RBI for the Grade B examination. As lakhs of aspirants appear for the examination every year, the Reserve Bank of India has specified the restrictions for the number of times a candidate can appear in the examination. Candidates belonging to the General and EWS category can appear in the exam for the 06 times only. For other category aspirants, the number of limits has not been specified.
