Q1. A started a work and left after working for 3 days. Then, B was called and he finished the work in. Had A left the work after working for, B would have finished the remaining work in 9 days. In how many days can each of them, working alone, finish the whole work?

Q2. Three members of a family A, B and C, work together to get all household chores done. The time it takes them to do the work together is six hours less than A would have taken working alone, one hour less than B would have taken alone, and half the time C would have taken working alone. How long did it take them to do these chores working together?

Q3. A pump can be operated both for filling a tank and for emptying it. The capacity of tank is 2400 m³. The emptying capacity of the pump is 10 m³ per minute higher than its filling capacity. Consequently, the pump needs 8 minutes less to empty the tank than to fill it. Find the filling capacity of the pump.
