Quantitative Aptitude Quiz For NIACL AO
Directions (1-5): The line graph below shows the profit made on selling a unit of mobile as a percent of selling price. The table shows the cost price of each brand of mobile sold by the shop ‘MOBILE WALA’.
Q1. If the total profit made by shop ‘Mobile Wala’ on selling mobiles of brand Vivo was Rs. 13,500, then find the number of units sold by the shop?
⇒ SP = Rs. (13500 × 5)
Let, No. of units sold be ‘x’, then
6000 × x + 13500 = 13500 × 5
Or, 6000x = 4 × 13500
Or, x = 9
Q2. If shop ‘Mobile Wala’ sold 10 units of mobile of brand Samsung, then find the total selling price of all these 10 units sold and profit made on each unit.

Q6. In a bag there are three types of colored balls i.e, yellow, green and Red. The probability of getting one yellow ball is 2/5 and the probability of selecting one green ball is 3/7. If total number of Red balls are 18 then find the probability of selecting one red ball.
Then total balls = 5x
Let green balls = 3y
Then total balls = 7y
ATQ—
2x + 3y + 18 = 5x = 7y …(i)
From (i)
x – y = 6 ..(ii)
2y – x = 9 ….(iii)
Solving (ii) and (iii)
x = 21 and y = 15
Required probability = 18/105 = 6/35
Q7. There are 5 multiple choice questions in an examination. How many sequences of answers are possible, if the first three questions have 4 choices each and the next two have 6 choices each?
