The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has declared the result, score card and cut-off of IBPS PO Prelims examination held on 3rd and 10th October 2020 and on 5th and 6th January 2021. The IBPS PO Prelims exam was conducted in two cycles- one in October 2020 and an additional round of supplementary exam in Early January this year on 4th and 5th. With the release of the scorecard, the IBPS has also explained the process to arrive at scores. Let us see and understand the process.
Process To Arriving At Scores For IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2020-21
The scores of the IBPS PO Prelims Exam are obtained by adopting the following procedure:
- The number of questions answerd correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying penalty for wrong answers.
- The Corrected Scores so obtained by a candidate are made equivalent to take care of the minor difference in difficulty level, if any, across the different sets of objective tests to arrive at the Equated Scores*.
- Final scores in each Test are rounded off up to two digits after the decimal points.
