Q. What Does NRA Stands For?
Ans. NRA stands for National Recruitment Agency, which will be set up to streamline the recruitment process of various exam testing agencies.
Q. What is the need of NRA?
Ans. Currently, candidates have to fill up multiple forms and have to pay multiple fee which result in financially burdening the already unemployed candidates. Women candidates and Specially able students were facing problem in transportation for multiple exams in year and hence to reduce all these efforts and to cut the application cost, NRA has been set up in which single form will be filled and candidate can choose the centre of his/her own choice and take the test.
Q. What is CET?
Ans. CET is Common Eligibility test. As the name of the test suggest, it will be an exam which will help the candidates to be eligible to apply for the next round of their preferred recruitment Process. This will be a substitute test in place of Preliminary examination.
Q. What is the Syllabus of CET?
Ans. The syllabus of CET is yet to disclose but the syllabus will be common for all and it is expected that it will incorporate the exam pattern of all the testing agencies namely: SSC, IBPS and Railways etc. There is nothing much to worry about. We are expecting four sections namely: Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness.
Q. How many stages will be there for the respective exams?
Ans. There will be no change in terms of stages. Every exam will have same number of stages. For e.g If there are three stages in IBPS PO namely: Prelims, Mains and Interview then all the three stages will take place. The only difference is that the prelim will remain same for no matter which exam you want to apply for and Mains and Interview will be conducted by the earlier exam testing agencies. In this case, it will be conducted by IBPS.
Q. How long will the CET score will be valid?
Ans. The CET score will be valid for three years from the date of the declaration of exam. A candidate can give as many attempts as he can. The only restriction is on the upper age limit.
Q. In how many Languages one can attempt CET?
Ans. A candidate can attempt CET in 12 multiple languages as mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
Q. Will this year exams be conducted by NRA?
Ans. The exams whose notification are already out will be conducted as usual and also NRA is yet to be set up and it will take time and hence we can expect the next year exams to be conducted by NRA but this year all the exams be conducted by their respective exam testing agencies.
