NICL Assistant Syllabus 2024 & Exam Pattern for Prelims and Mains

National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) will conduct the assistant prelims exam on 30 November 2024. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the NICL Assistant Syllabus 2024 and the prelims and mains exam pattern. The NICL Assistant Syllabus is the initial stage of preparing for the NICL Assistant exam. The prelims exam is all about the speed and accuracy to qualify for the mains exam and the mains exam focuses on the depth of knowledge of each subject.

NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024

The NICL Assistant Exam Pattern 2024 is divided into two phase examinations: Phase I (Prelims) and Phase II (Mains) followed by the Regional Language Test.

• There will be a negative marking of one-fourth (0.25 marks) for wrong answers marked in both the Prelims and Mains Examination.
• The final Merit list will be prepared from the marks obtained in the Mains Examination subject to qualifying for the Regional Language Test.

NICL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

The prelims Exam is scheduled for 30 November 2024. It contains 100 questions for 100 marks to be completed in the 60 minutes. It includes sections like English, Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude.

The Phase 1 Exam is qualifying in nature NO marks will be included in the Final Merit List.

NICL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2024

The Mains Exam is scheduled for 28 December 2024. The Phase 2 includes 200 questions of 1 mark each to be completed in 120 minutes. The section from which questions are asked in the examination are Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge. It is the crucial stage, as marks obtained in this stage will be included in the Final Merit List.

In the NICL Assistant Examination 2024, candidates have to prepare English Language, Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Ability for the Phase I Exam. In addition to these, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge are asked in the Phase II Examination.
