The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exams are expected to be on 8th/ 9th of September 2018.

What is the selection procedure of NIACL Assistant 2018?
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a
three-tiered process:
I. Preliminary Examination
II. Mains Examination
III. Language Proficiency Test
Final Selection-
Candidates qualifying in the Online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for Regional Language Test, before final selection. No separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test. This test will be only qualifying in nature. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online Main examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for online examinations & Regional Language Test. In case of equal marks scored by the last two or more candidates in the merit list, the candidate senior most in age will be shortlisted for further process of recruitment.
☛ Will there be an interview after the written result?
No, only language proficiency test in one’s regional language will be conducted after she qualifies the mains examination.
☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
Common Written Exam for NIACL Assistant will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Minimum Age: 21 years; Maximum Age: 30 years (as on. 30.06.2018). Candidates born not earlier than 1st July 1988 and not later than 30th June 1997 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply.
☛ What is the educational qualification required for various posts in this recruitment process?
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on date of application registration. Also, knowledge of Regional Language of the State for which a candidate applies is essential.

☛ What is the cut-off for being recruited?
There is no fixed cutoff for NIACL Assistant. It depends on the performance of candidates every year. Your final score is calculated based on your performance in the Online Tests.
