NABARD Manager Grade B Prelims Exam has conducted its online examination today, and the first shift is over now. This article will give you the opportunity to analyze the NABARD Manager 2019 exam and question asked in the Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture &  Rural Development (with focus on Rural India).  After critical analysis and review given by candidates who have appeared for the first shift, we would say that this year’s NABARD Manager Prelims Shift-1 examination was of an Easy to Moderate level.

The Online Examination constituted of an objective test which had seven sections namely Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture &  Rural Development (with focus on Rural India). The objective test had a composite time of 120 minutes for all seven sections.

There were 2 sets of puzzles and Seating Arrangement which are given below:-

Quantitative Aptitude (Moderate)

There was 2 sets of Data Interpretation questions. The DIs were based on:

  • Line Graph (count of cats & dogs)
  • Caselet ( based on Train timings)

English Language ( Easy – Moderate)

The level of this section was moderate in comparison with the rest of the examination. There was 1 set of Reading Comprehension and they also included 4 vocabulary based questions of synonyms and antonyms. Reading Comprehension was based on Food Processing Industries.

Computer Knowledge (Easy)

The questions asked in Computer Knowledge were easy. Some of the topics are as follows:
Internet

  • URL.
  • Networking.
  • Operating System.
  • Protocol related to Email.
  • Input/output device.
  • Secondary memory.
  • Software.


General Awareness (Moderate)

Overall the section was Moderate. Current affairs of last 5-6 months dominated. Some of the questions asked are as follows:

  • Social Justice Minister.
  • ICC chief (one of the committees).
  • World Bank Business Report.
  • Author of Undaunted: Saving the Idea of India.
  • President of Malawi.


Economic & Social Issues (Moerate)

Overall the section was of moderate level. About 20-25 questions were asked from central & state government schemes. Some of the questions/topics are as follows:

  • SANKALP/STRIVE scheme (Ministry).
  • Social Vikas Yojana.
  • Employment Generation Scheme.
  • Reduced lending rate to farmers.


Agriculture & Rural Development (Moderate)
Candidates had to struggle with this section as it was bit difficult compared to other sections. Some of the questions/topics are as follows:

  • Socio Economic census (illiteracy percentage above 25 years of age).
  • Priority Sector Lending for farmers.
  • Indian Adulteration act (related to milk).
