It all started with my UPSC preparation in 2015. I failed to crack the prelims thrice. Subsequently, I failed in a lot of examinations. I was broken and I thought maybe I should give up. But I thought why not give it another try before giving up. With three failed attempts at UPSC prelims, I started preparing for Bank and SSC in the mid of 2017. I cleared SSC CGL tier 1 but failed miserably in tier 2 even after putting in a LOT of effort. By this time I learnt how to pick up myself and start running again when I fall. So I kept on working hard.
In 2018 I cleared SBI JA examination in my first attempt, which was most unexpected. I got my first Job after 4 years of hard work. I also cleared the IBPS PO prelims examination. The mains examination was slated on 18th November, exactly a month before my marriage. For various reasons, this time I wasn’t able to give my undivided attention to the preparation of my mains examination but still I went on, there was a voice inside me which said that I will make it no matter how many hurdles I have to face. I gave the exam and the result of the mains examination was out on 17th December evening, the evening of my Marriage Reception. It was like a cherry on the cake. I had to take an extension in SBI because I was getting married during the training period. After marriage, I moved to Delhi. I did not know how to prepare for my interview. That is when I came across Adda247’s online live coaching classes for the interview. I instantly enrolled in it.
I watched each live class attentively and prepared for my interview. They classes were really helpful. There were good grooming sessions. Also, the online mock interview and the feedback of the faculty members boosted up my confidence. My interview didn’t go too well because I was asked questions from the area I didn’t prepare, but I kept my cool and answered as many questions as I could. When the results were out I was surprised that I made it. I have realised that my struggles taught me to be a better and stronger person. I understood that the harder we work, the luckier we get. Finally, I learnt the true meaning of the phrase –‘Failures are the pillars of success’.
