Recently, the news of setting up of a new National recruitment agency has taken the nation by storm as this is one of its kind step in the recruitment process. Now, Madhya Pradesh has recently announced to offer Government jobs on the basis of CET score and hence became the first ever state to do so. NRA aims to streamline the recruitment process of various exam testing agencies like: IBPS, Railways and SSC. It aims to set up the new examination centres in every district possible in order to make the recruitment process more feasible for women candidates as well as for the Specially- able students. It was Chief Minister Shivraj Chauhan of Madhya pradesh who made the announcement of offering government jobs on the basis of CET score just the next of NRA approval which makes Madhya Pradesh be the very first state to take this extraordinary decision.
MP First State To Offer Govt Jobs On Basis Of NRA CET Score
The decision was appreciated by the CM Chauhan of MP and he said that- “This is an exceptional decision has been taken to promote the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by providing jobs to the eligible candidates only on the basis of marks they obtain in the CET and that the MP Government totally support the decision and is willing to make this change. This step will not only empower the youth but will also will make Madhya Pradesh Atmanirbhar which will surely give shape to his dream of Atmanirbhar Bharat.
CM Chauhan also said that the “MP is all set for the big change and had already decided that only the youth of the state will have the right to government jobs in Madhya Pradesh. This decision will help the young candidates to get rid of the wasteful expenditure and travelling due to repeated examinations” he said.
The Union Minister of Personnel, Jitendra Singh, has said that the NRA will be sharing the CET score list with the state and UTs in order to help them to select the eligible candidates for various government jobs.
What Is NRA?
NRA is National recruitment agency which will conduct a single exam for various exam testing agencies and will replace the current preliminary examination score with CET score which will be valid for a period of three years. The step has been taken to reduce the work load from the current exam testing agencies and also to increase the transparency.
