LIC AAO Prelims Exam Analysis
LIC Assistant Administrative Officers (AAO) preliminary exam was held on 4th May & 5th May 2019 across India. But, candidates of Odisha & nearby states were NOT able to take this prestigious examination because of Cyclone Fani which made landfall on 3rd May. Subsequently, LIC AAO Prelims 2019 for Odisha candidates were postponed. The exam was held today i.e. 24th May 2019.
In this posts, we are providing you with LIC AAO 2019 Prelims Exam Analysis held for Odisha candidates.
This year there is the sectional timing of 20 minutes in the Prelims Exam, it’s important for all insurance/banking aspirants to go through the review once. Exam analysis and review can help the aspirants who are yet to appear in upcoming shifts of LIC AAO Prelims to get an idea of the difficulty level and expected the pattern of questions in Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language sections. The examination held in this shift was of Easy to Moderate level. The order of occurrence of sections was the English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.

*English Language section is qualifying in nature and the marks in the English Language will not be counted for ranking. So, marks of English language section will not be taken into account for calculating Good Attempts.
The order of occurrence of each section was as follows:
- Reasoning Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Language
Quantitative Aptitude (Easy – Moderate)
The level of Quantitative Aptitude section was Moderate because 10 questions were based on word problems (Miscellaneous). There were 3 sets of DIs namely:
- Tabular DI
- Pie Chart
- Caselet (Football, Cricket, Tennis)

NOTE: Minimum qualifying marks in Quantitative Aptitude section is 18 (16 for SC/ST).
*English Language (Easy-Moderate)
English section was easy. There was one set of Reading Comprehension with 10 questions out of which 2 questions were based on Vocabs.

*The English Language section is qualifying in nature and the marks in English Language will not be counted for ranking. Minimum qualifying marks is 10 (9 for SC/ST).
Reasoning Ability (Moderate)
The level of reasoning section was also Easy. There were 4 sets of puzzles and Seating Arrangement, following are the types
- Month Based Puzzle (7 Months)
- Parallel Row Seating Arrangement (North-South, 6 people each side)
- Circular Sitting Arrangement (8 people, 8 colour)
- Linear Sitting Arrangement
