JAIIB/CAIIB Increment After Stagnation: JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) and CAIIB (Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers) are the promotional-driven exams conducted by the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance(IIBF). Employees first have to qualify JAIIB Exam and then they are eligible to appear for the paper of CAIIB. Increments After Qualifying JAIIB/CAIIB
Employees after qualifying for JAIIB and CAIIB Exams are eligible for increments in their salary. The number of increments that a clerk and an officer receives after JAIIB and CAIIB Exams respectively are mentioned below.

JAIIB/CAIIB Increment of a Clerk After Stagnation
The Basic Pay of a clerk is 17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42660-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920.
The clerical staff after reaching the maximum pay scale shall get 9 stagnation increments at the rate of Rs. 1990 at the frequency of 2 years. JAIIB/CAIIB passed employees also receive PQP from 1 to 5 level rates and are available in the 11th Bipartite Settlement Booklet. When employees qualify JAIIB/CAIIB after reaching the 20th stage then there are no increment left in the pay scale. One/Two Professional Qualification Pay is sanctioned. If a banker is on the 19th stage and passes CAIIB then he/she will be sanctioned one increment and one PQP. Employees who acquire JAIIB/CAIIB after reaching 19th or 20th stage their immediate stagnation increment advanced accordingly by one/two year as the case may be.
JAIIB/CAIIB Increment of an officer after Stagnation
The Basic Pay of an Officer is 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840. The Officers in Scale 1 and 2 who are/were in service of the bank as per 1st November 2017 are eligible for 5 stagnation increments after the completion of every 2 years.
As per the Joint Note dated dated 11th November 2020(11.11.2020) the following amount will be received by the Scale 1 and Scale 2 employees in their 5 stagnation increments.

Professional Qualification Pay (PQP)
- Officers will be eligible for Professional Qualification Pay as under: Those who have passed only CAIIB-Part 1/JAIIB will receive Rs.1020 per month one year after reaching top of the scale.
- Those who have passed both parts of CAIIB will get Rs.1020 per month, one year after reaching top of the scale and Rs.2550 per month, two years after reaching top of the scale.
- An Officer Employee who has qualified JAIIB/CAIIB(either or both parts) after reaching the maximum pay scale will be granted the first installment of PQP from the date of acquiring such qualification and the release of subsequent installments of PQP shall be with reference to the date of release of first installment of Professional Qualification Pay.
