IDBI Bank is seeking to hire for the post of Chief Customer Service Officer (CCSO) and Data Protection Officer (DPO) on a contract basis, with one vacancy available for each post. Eligible candidates must be Indian citizens between the ages of 45 and 60 as of May 1, 2024, for the post of DPO whereas for CCSO Post candidates must not be above 65 years of age.

Nationality

Nationality is common for both CCSO and DPO. To be eligible for CCSO & DPO, you must be one of these:

• A citizen of India.
• A person from Nepal.
• A person from Bhutan.
• A Tibetan who came to India before January 1, 1962, and wants to live in India permanently. Someone of
• Indian origin who moved from Pakistan, Myanmar (Burma), Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam, and wants to live in India permanently.

Educational Qualification

For DPO: Graduation or Equivalent

Desired Qualification: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) (CIPP Europe / CIPP-Asia), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE), PECB Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO), Certified in Data Protection (CDP) / ISO 27001/ NIST 800-53/ CISM/CISA.

Essential Profile Qualification For CCSO: 

(a) Shall either be a retired or serving officer, in the rank equivalent to a General Manager of another bank / Financial Sector Regulatory Body / NBSP / NBFC /CIC.
(b) Shall not have been previously employed/presently employed with IDBI Bank or any of IDBI Bank’s related parties.

Work Experience

For DPO: Minimum 15 years work experience in managerial role in IT preferably with 3-5 year experience in Data Privacy, Data Regulation etc and other relevant Data security areas (within overall experience as above). Candidates having the above experience in BFSI sector/ Scheduled Commercial Banks shall be preferred.

For CCSO: Minimum seven years of working in areas such as Banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/or consumer protection.

Age Limit

For DPO: Minimum 45 years to Maximum 60 years.

For CCSO: CCSO shall not be more than 65 years as on June 01, 2024.
