  1. Candidates are allocated a total duration of 45 minutes to complete the preliminary exam.
  2. There are 2 sections with a total of 80 questions and a maximum score of 80 marks.
  3. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer attempted by candidates.
  4. It is necessary to clear the cut-off in all 2 sections.

IBPS RRB PO Mains Exam Pattern

In the IBPS RRB PO Mains exam, candidates are allotted a total duration of 120 minutes to complete the examination. The exam comprises five sections, with a total of 200 questions carrying a maximum of 200 marks. It’s important to note that there is negative marking in the IBPS RRB PO Mains exam, meaning that incorrect answers result in a penalty. Each correct answer usually carries one mark, while there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response. IBPS RRB Clerk Mains Exam Pattern

In the IBPS RRB Clerk mains exam, candidates will have to score a total of 200 questions across 5 sections, with each section containing 40 questions. They will be allotted a composite time of 2 hours to complete the entire examination. It’s important to note that for each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks. There is a single examination for Officer Scale III, and after qualifying it candidates will be eligible for the interview round. IBPS RRB Interview Process

Candidates who have successfully cleared the mains examination for the positions of Officers Scale I, II, and III will be invited to attend an interview. This interview will be organized by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank in collaboration with NABARD and will take place at selected centres. The interview carries a total of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the interview will be in accordance with the existing guidelines set by the authorities.
