My IBPS RRB PO 2024 interview was a positive experience with a cordial and supportive panel. The Chairman began by asking about my current work profile, followed by my motivation to join the RRB, to which I expressed my interest in rural development and financial inclusion. He then inquired about my MBA project, and I shared the objectives, outcomes, and its relevance to banking.

Member 1 tested my banking knowledge, asking me to explain CRR and how it differs from SLR. I clarified both terms, then discussed the Green Revolution in India, identifying Dr. M.S. Swaminathan as its father. Lastly, I named five notable personalities from Assam.

Member 2 asked about my hobbies, specifically when I practice them and if I’ve taken any training. I shared details on my routine and training, as well as my preference for a particular gharana.

Member 3 focused on financial inclusion and central government agriculture schemes, where I mentioned PM-KISAN and the Kisan Credit Card scheme. He also asked about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, which I explained as a crop insurance scheme.

Member 4, the only female, asked about other exams I’ve appeared for and my preference if selected for multiple positions, to which I expressed my interest in RRB for its rural impact.

IBPS RRB PO Interview Experience 2

The interview started with an introduction where I shared my name, family background, and hometown. They asked about my education, and I described where I studied and how my degree has prepared me for banking.

Moving into technical questions, they asked what I knew about banks, and I explained the basic functions and their importance in the economy. They then asked if I would be comfortable working in a village despite living in the city. I expressed my openness to the idea and eagerness to work in rural areas.

When they asked about my bank account, I mentioned the bank I use and was then questioned about balance sheets, debt-equity ratio, and retirement accounts. I explained these concepts confidently, showing my understanding of banking fundamentals. I was also asked to name three government schemes, for which I mentioned PM-KISAN, Jan Dhan Yojana, and PM Mudra Yojana.

They inquired about my activities since my graduation in 2019, which I detailed, along with my motivation to join RRBs for their role in financial inclusion. Lastly, I discussed a famous place in my state and explained the difference between debit and credit cards. The panel was friendly, making it a positive experience overall.

IBPS RRB PO Interview Experience 3

The IBPS RRB PO Interview of the following candidate was conducted in Indore on 13 November 2024 and the panel consisted of 4 members (3 male and 1 female).

The interview began with a warm welcome from the panel, which consisted of four members (three male and one female). The first interviewer started by asking my name and educational background then followed up by asking how my qualifications could be useful in a banking career. I explained how my skills and knowledge could help me understand and cater to customers’ financial needs, especially in rural banking.

The second interviewer asked questions related to my graduation field, specifically about identifying DNA, which I handled confidently. He then asked why farmers are significant to our country, to which I emphasized the crucial role of agriculture in India’s economy and food security.

The third panelist focused on my knowledge of RRB functions and agriculture. He asked what RRBs do, how farmers grow crops, and the current Minimum Support Price (MSP) of wheat. I shared insights on how RRBs support rural areas and answered the other questions accurately.

The female panelist asked economic questions, such as the impact of the rupee’s depreciation and who is responsible for printing currency notes in India. To conclude, the first panelist asked what I observed in villages and the machinery commonly used in agriculture. Overall, the interview was friendly, and I felt positive about my responses.

IBPS RRB PO Interview Experience 4

The given candidate attended the IBPS RRB PO Interview 2024 on 13 November 2024 at 08 am. He had the interview with Panel 4, which was welcoming and helped him feel at ease.

They began with questions about my commerce background. I was asked to define goodwill, explain how it appears in the net worth section of the balance sheet, and specify where deposits are shown on a bank’s balance sheet. Additionally, they asked how a business could increase its goodwill, to which I responded by discussing the importance of customer satisfaction, reputation, and quality service.

The panel then shifted to banking-related questions, focusing on services beyond lending and deposits. I highlighted functions such as fund transfers, financial advisory, and safe deposit lockers, explaining how locker facilities provide security for customers’ valuables.

They also asked a situation-based question on farmer suicides, where I shared my views on the socio-economic impact of the issue. They inquired about ways banks could help farmers increase income without solely relying on loans, and I suggested financial literacy programs, crop insurance, and investment schemes as supportive measures.

In personal questions, they asked about my father’s occupation and his responsibilities, along with my life goals. I expressed my ambition to contribute to rural development through banking. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I felt satisfied with my answers.
